Re: program stalls

Hi, If the story is VERY long then it can take some time. I've tried it today on an old Netbook (Atom 1,6Ghz, 1GB Ram) and a 100.000 word, 40 chapter story took 4 minutes as pdf On my normal computer it's around 30 seconds If you don't get an outputfile: Try to run the program as admin If you get a ...

Re: author part not working

Hi pookakitten,

that's not a bug, that's a feature (I've always wanted to use this sentence)
Due to limitations of Windows, Linux, Mac and of course Calibre I'm removing 10 characters which are not allowed in a filename.

Here's the list: : * ? < > | / " .

Re: author part not working

Hi,

to use the category in the filename (config): %c
to use it in the layout: %category

Yes, I'm not modifying an existing layout.html file. But you could also delete/remove your file, then you'd get automatically a new one.

Re: adultfanfiction problems

The bad news is how adultfanfiction creates the stories makes the final EPUB formatting a royal mess. Fanfiction.net uses <p> tags for paragraphing. Adultfanfiction.net uses <br /> tags and when Calibre converts them, it adds extra lines between paragraphs and makes it impossible for me to adjust t...

Re: mediaminer (fanfic website)

Hi,

my fault, I should have told you that you aren't allowed to use the link to the index page.
Please open a chapter of the story (unimportant which one) and try it again.

I've attached the story as pdf

Re: adultfanfiction problems

Hi, the second problem is fixed with the next version. I don't have a problem with the first story: Hermione shook her head and turned to where the dials should be, but there were none. ‘Well, that’s stupid,’ she said aloud. She looked around the entire shower for a way for it to turn on. She moved ...

Re: portkey.org

Hi,

the only similarity between the 4.x and the actual version is the name and the purpose of the program.
I have to rewrite the conversion routine for every page. And that's quiet a lot of work.´
But the portkey pages are next on my list - maybe it'll be ready with version 0.3
