Since there are plenty of stories who use the same title it would be great if you got like a warning when the program is going to overwrite an existing file by the same name, a simple 'yes' 'no' 'rename' would be enough

Re: Overwriting Existing File
Hi,
overwriting files is a wanted feature if your story was updated and you are downloading it again.
There's no way that you'll get the same filename if you name it AUTHOR - STORYNAME

Same goes for naming it Storyname by Author "%s by %a", it's how I always name my fics.Raimond wrote:overwriting files is a wanted feature if your story was updated and you are downloading it again.

Hi,
how often do you find an author who publishes two stories with the same name?
However, you'll be able to include the "last updated" in the filename with the next version, that should be enough to solve it
